The shopping street is adjacent to Aoi Station on the Tsukuba Express, which opened in 2005.
With the arrival of numerous large stores, the shopping street has been focusing on events to attract customers. The association members are working together more than ever to ensure a steady flow of visitors.
Notably, the morning market, held on the fourth Sunday of every month, has been a continuous event for 38 years since April 1978, with fireworks displays. The "Manzoku Market" (evening market) is held on the second Saturday of each month and reached its 192nd occurrence this February, having started in June 2000.
We also host events like the Sakura Festival and the Mid-Year and Year-End Sales.
