Our shopping street is located an 8-minute walk from JR Kameari Station. It was originally formed as the Kita Mitani Shopping Association in 1964 and became incorporated as the Towa Ginza Shopping Street Promotion Association in 1970. At that time, it flourished with over 100 member stores.
The activities in this area, Towa, have been centered around the shopping street, contributing to the development of local events such as the Bon Odori festival and shrine festivals.
In 1983, we were appointed as the first model shopping street project by Tokyo, completing the arcade and colored pavement.
The morning market held on the second Sunday of every month is bustling with many customers coming from afar.
