上野中央通り商店会は、上野駅前から御徒町の松坂屋にいたる中央通り延べ1,000メートルに⾯する両側の商店によって組織されています。上野中央通りの歴史は古く、江戸時代、寛永２年（1625）の東叡山寛永寺の創建により、その門前町として誕生したときから始まりました。
